So if you've read my blog at all recently, you know that my fiance Craig is an avid climber (it's pretty much his life, bro). He asked me to try making some DIY crimp oil for him. (For you non-climbers, Crimp Oil is used to repair the skin on your hands but preserve your hard-earned calluses). Craig told me what he was looking for in his crimp oil, I did some research on individual oils, and also researched some other crimp oil products. I came up with a combo of a TON of oils and filled an empty (used) 5ml oil bottle.
Craig has been using it for about two weeks and he'll come home from climbing and tell me that the skin on his hands repairs faster but the calluses don't go away. He also said that his hand muscles don't feel as sore the day after hard climbing so that he can give 100% everyday that he's on a climbing trip.
