Young Living's Valor blend isn't overly citrus-y or floral-y. It just smells good :) I prefer Valor I to Valor II, but they are both fantastic! Valor I contains Black Spruce, Blue Tansy, Frankincense, Rosewood, and Coconut Oil whereas Valor II contains Ylang Ylang, Rosewood, Northern Lights Black Spruce, Matricaria, Idaho Blue Spruce, Frankincense, Vetiver, Cistus, Bergamot, Cassia, and Davana. Valor can be applied neat (without carrier oil) to wrists, chest, base of neck, or bottoms of feet. It's also a great oil to add to your shower gel, nightly diffuser (I love the Valor + Cedarwood + Vetiver nighttime combo), and is a great oil to use when giving a massage.
Valor helps instill confidence, courage, and self-esteem, so If you're feeling intimidated by your workload, to-do list, public speaking, or a demanding day rub some Valor on your feet (the foot is a great place to apply many essential oils since the skin is thin and the oils are absorbed into the bloodstream faster), hands, or neck.
Usage + Recipes
Below are some recipes that use Valor.
- Sleepy Cream
- Put a few drops in the diffuser before bed to enjoy a peaceful night of sleep
- Body Wash / Shower Gel
- Simple Soap (this recipe doesn't use Valor, but you can substitute in your favorite oils - Valor would be incredible as a bar soap)
- Have a snorer in your life? Cut down on restless nights sleep by putting one drop of Valor on each big toe!
