I'd never heard of copaiba until I received it in my premium starter kit. It took me a while to figure out how best to use it but once I learned it was an enhancing oil (enhances the qualities of the oils you pair it with), it was much easier for me to incorporate it into my oil routine. The smell of this oil reminds me of a wood shop (my boyfriend and I just finished building a fence and it smells A LOT like my garage, where all of the wood was cut). Copaiba supports the body's natural response to injury or irritation including aiding in easing common digestive discomfort when taken internally. It helps the body regulate its natural immune response and promotes a youthful appearance from the inside out.*
Usage + Recipes
Copaiba is a great anti-inflammatory, so you can apply this directly to any mild aches and pains for relief. It can be applied neat (no dilution with a carrier oil), but I would still suggest diluting it as it will make your oils last longer! Below are items that I've used/made with copaiba. The links redirect to some of my favorite, go-to blogs and websites where I find killer recipes.
- Natural Deodorant (add one or two drops per armpit in place of regular deodorant)
- Post-workout cream
